Introducing...
My new grandson!
His name is Thomas, and he was born this past Tuesday, coming in at a whopping 5 lbs 5.5 oz. He came a bit early, but mom and baby are doing great. It's the first grandchild on both sides, so we are all really excited, but for now, the new parents are trying to keep things quiet and have everyone stay away for the most part. I'm sure they will relax a bit in time.
And just look at the size of those fingers holding Daddy's thumb!
Sigh. My heart is full.
Last night we had a spectacular show outside our windows as the sun set. Pardon the telephone lines...
Awfully, pretty, don't you think?
Tomorrow I'm off on my little adventure. It could be fun, it could be, well, a bit traumatizing, but either way, I'll find out soon enough. I'll have to keep looking at photos of Thomas to keep me calm and happy. Till next time!
